A 1976 Lowell graduate, Terry was a longtime LAA board member before he began working as the LAA's Development Director in 2004. In 2009 Terry succeeded the beloved Paul Lucey to become only the second LAA Executive Director. Terry holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Northwestern University as well as an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago's Booth School and earned his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. He also received his L.L.M. in Tax from Golden Gate University. Terry's private-sector experience includes several years as a financial analyst and manager at a Fortune 500 company prior to attending law school and then work as a law firm associate at large firms based in San Francisco and Chicago for nearly a decade. Since 2006 Terry has coached the Lowell High School speech and debate team. He, his partner, and two dogs live in San Francisco.
